Monthly Meeting, November 15th: NEW LOCATION, L2

Please join us for the monthly general meeting of the South Street West Business Association.  This is our first meeting at the west end of the corridor, at L2, 22nd and South Streets.

Please note our new location this month.  This is first meeting on the west end of South Street.  We will be meeting every other month at our traditional location at Govinda's and the alternate months at L2.

1.  Clean Air Council, Sustainable Commuting Practices

NIck Rogers from the Clean AIr Council will discuss their Mobility Alternatives Program - Sustainable Commuting Practices for small businesses and their employees.  Find out about pre-tax public transportation and payroll tax savings!

2.  DCED Grant:  Corrditor Marketing

With the help of State Senator Larry Farnese's office, SSWBA has received a DCED grant that will further support our corridor marketing campaign.

3.  Bridging Corridor Needs Discussion

At this first meeting on the west end, we would like to discuss common needs and priorities for the east and west ends of South Street West.  Come with your concerns and ideas!

4.  South Street Bridge Reopening:  Report

Matt Levinson was instrumental in helping to plan the street celebration--along with SOSNA, CCRA, and the Grays Ferry Triangle Coalition. He will report back from a very successful day!

Our membership drive is now underway.  Please bring your dues with you to this meeting, or provide them to David Hess, our Treasurer.  Dues are $100 per year.
